Nicholas D'Avella

Nicholas D'Avella is a Principal UX Researcher at StreetEasy, where he conducts research to inform the products and experiences that connect New Yorkers with their next home. Before joining StreetEasy, he led UX research for digital products in fintech and other industries. Nicholas holds a PhD in Anthropology and is the author of Concrete Dreams: Practice, Value, and Built Environments in Post-Crisis Buenos Aires (Duke University Press, 2019), an ethnography of real estate investment, architecture, and neighborhood life in Argentina. He has held research and teaching positions at UC Berkeley, UC Davis, NYU, and The Cooper Union.
